Sultanate of Oman is one of the most progressive and modern
nations in the Middle East. The country offers excellent
living standards with all amenities and modern
infrastructure.
Muscat, the capital city, is easily one of the most
beautiful and well-maintained cities in the world. It has a
large expatriate population including businessmen and
professionals. The city offers an excellent social and
cultural environment. There are places of worship like
mosques, temples and churches. There are many avenues for
recreation with a large number of clubs, bars, multi-cuisine
restaurants, malls, parks and entertainment centres. Medical
facilities in the Sultanate are excellent.
Educational opportunities of a wide range are available in
the country. Apart from a large number of schools for the
local Omanis, where the medium of teaching is Arabic, there
are exclusive Indian schools following the Indian CBSE
syllabus offering high quality education up to 12th
Standard. In addition, there are also specialised British,
American and other schools for expatriates. There are no
restrictions on women working or driving and several ladies
find employment in schools, hospitals, banks, consulting
companies and other business establishments. |
